A Slice of Pi
Recently, I had the opportunity of reading the publicly acclaimed book, Life of Pi. This book is one of works listed on the Science Literature section of the Great Works list. It is chuck full of examples of the laws of nature and the interactions between humans and our fury and sometimes not-so-fury companions here on earth. Yann Martel is able to effortlessly synthesize a beautiful compound between science and religion in a gripping prose fiction novel. Lending to this creation are Martel’s use of vivid imagery, detailed descriptions, and poignant illusions. These factors, when employed by the author, lead to a stunning scientific novel.

And this is all I have for now...
